At AVZ-Group, of which Caralu is a part, we believe that every step counts. That is why we are committed to working sustainably every day to reduce our ecological footprint and actively reduce CO₂ emissions. Together with you, we are building a future that is cleaner, smarter and greener. Our goal? To be completely climate neutral by 2050. We are fully committed to this, on multiple fronts.
Less energy, less emissions
We focus on reducing our energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. In our production processes, we ensure more efficient use of raw materials, less sawing and cutting waste, and careful waste separation. Where possible, we use sustainable, recyclable packaging materials, provided this does not compromise quality.
Insight with life cycle assessments (LCAs)
We are fully committed to making not only our business operations more sustainable, but also our products. Life cycle assessments (LCAs) play an important role in this. LCAs provide insight into the total environmental impact of a product: from raw material to recycling/waste processing (end of life).
Actions speak louder than words – our valuable contribution
At AVZ-Group, we believe it is important to contribute not only to a better environment, but also to society. This is reflected in our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Every day, we work towards a more sustainable and better future for everyone.
We are proud of the various projects through which we make a positive contribution to society. Whether it concerns sponsorship, such as for Solar Team Eindhoven, or supplying products for events such as the NAC Street League finals, we are happy to do our bit. We are particularly proud of our long-standing partnership with KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society). It is important for us to contribute in this way, and we are grateful that these initiatives enable us to make a difference to society.
